PocketPOS - 'Duplicate Merchant Reference number' or 'Error code 225'

This can happen when there is a dip in the mobile internet connection or if you are using your own reference numbers and you have used this number before.

Every transaction requires a unique reference number within a six-month window period. Please use a unique reference number for each transaction or allow reference numbers to be generated automatically.

if you are using auto-generated reference numbers, just change the current number by adding 2 or 3 digits behind the current number in the reference field in order for it to jump over to the next number.
